Sierra Continuation High School is a unique and talented blend of students, educators, support staff, and community members who, as role models and mentors, are vested in creating a high quality, nurturing and safe learning environment. Sierra High School is dedicated to providing our students with the education, guidance and support necessary to succeed in all aspects of life. Multiple local entities contribute to the success of Sierra High, and we thank all of you for generous donations of not only funding but your countless donation of hours to our students.
Sierra High School has continued to earn the California Model Continuation High School recognition year after year, an honor we have received continuously since 2000. For 2017 - 2020, only 5% of California's 480 continuation schools received this distinction. We also recently received our 6-year accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
California recently launched the 2018 California School Dashboard, a website designed to help communities across the state access important data about K–12 districts and schools.
The site features a wealth of information on test scores, graduation rates, school attendance, college/career readiness, and suspensions. The Dashboard is part of California’s new school accountability and support framework that is empowering local communities to address the needs of their local schools.
